Dear readers,
There are people who think more about work than other people. In fact the gap is quite big.
There are these real party people who just don’t care about work at all. They just consume their parents money, without any sense and think they are something special, because they have fancier clothing, a girlfriend or because they can consume more alcohol.
And then there are these people who are living their work. They don’t think about anything else. While other people look for new ways to entertain theirselves, these people work and think about how they could have more success with their jobs.
So… what’s your oppinion about work? Would you rather live your work or your party?

Dear readers,
This was my English homework for today, and I thought by myself I could publish it. I don’t have anything else to post anyways.
Nuclear power provides 15% of the world electricity. All in all there are 439 active nuclear power reactors in the world. So that is not a very high percentage for the world. But some countries really depend on nuclear energy. France for example provides 78% of its total energy from nuclear power. The whole problem are the consequences if some system in the reactor fails. In the end it causes a very large explosion and a nuclear disaster. That would harm the lives of many people and therefore it is a very risky business for such an important country like France. We as Europeans naturally feel threatened by this kind of behavior. But why does it even come to such quick reactions like explosions?
Well – the basic idea of nuclear fission is to split atoms and therefore release a big amount of energy which is mainly emitted as caloric energy. This fission happens because the atoms were irradiated with neutrons. In the process of fission they also emit neutrons which again splits other atoms. So a chain reaction results which is rapidly producing more and more energy. This reaction must be controlled or it will lead to a sudden reaction which will end in an explosion. It happens so quickly, with that kind of intensity that there is no way to stop this reaction. And exactly that happened in Chernobyl in the fatal night on 25. April 1986. The accident occurred during a Test in which the security system was turned off.
We surely don‘t want to live with that kind of risk. But nuclear power is the only energy source which produces such a big amount of energy without emitting any CO2. Besides nuclear power doesn‘t depend on fossil fuels which will definitely one day come to an end. But boosting the energy gain can‘t be everything! There are so many possibilities to spare energy everywhere. There are actually already cars which totally rely on fuel cells. There are actually many houses which rely on solar power and thermal energy. People should understand that we are faced with a very bad situation. To get out of this situation we should all work together and change our infrastructure, so that we don‘t harm our planet anymore. We should better practice more renewable energy and explore new ways how to optimize the benefit.
Amen,

Dear readers,
I recently spoke to my Persian friend about a delicate thing. So it all started with a discussion about Japan and the difference to our culture. And he said that he thinks the Japanese toilets are much better than ours because they wash their asses with water, and not with toilet paper.
I really got afraid if a machine washed my ass with a high pressure water jet like in Japan. I mean are they really used to get their asses washed by machine in their toilets? I probably can’t get used to that… because it is weird.
What has it to do with hygiene anyways? It is completely beside the point wheter you wash your ass with water or with toilet paper. It anyways removes the unwanted elements on your bottom if you really want to. And besides that washlet idea that Japan uses originally comes from Switzerland where these washlets were first manufactured.
But I think they just want to feel better after having a poo. I can imagine that you feel much better if you are beeing washed so professionally on the bottom. So it is all about dignity.
Let’s all unite in dignity and blow a whole machine up our asses.

Dear readers,
I was accepted in the YFU program. I closed a contract with them and got my placing documents. There are about 14 pages where I should describe my personality, my hobbies, my life, my family, my social life, etc… And there are about 6 pages about my health. I also had to write a letter to my host family.
I completed the form and sent it to them. Now they are searching for a host family for me… So I haven’t heard of YFU since June. And it really pisses me off because I just can’t wait to go to Japan. They are leaving me all alone like that.
So you can imaginge that I am extremely bored right now because I can’t really think of something else than the exchange program. But I have a ray of hope in the near future! In November or December I am leaving my hometown for one week to meet with all the other exchange students from Austria! That will surely be great fun.
There is also a very unpleasant truth I don’t want to think of… I am leaving my girlfriend here in Austria for one year. I don’t like to do that because I really love her and it hurts me to leave her back in Austria.

Dear readers,
Since about one week I can’t concentrate on nothing. I make mistakes all the time and sometimes I just don’t know what to do. I think I can’t concentrate because I haven’t slept more than 5-6 hours a day for months, but I simply can’t sleep more than this. If I try to go to sleep earlier I wake up earlier… It is so damn awful. Besides I got sick one week ago and I really don’t feel good at the moment. So that is how I feel, but that is not so bad at all. I mean it is acceptable.
But the point is not that I feel like that. It is that we got visitors… They are some friends from some distant relatives. They are really distant relatives, I don’t even know their names or how they are related to us. So their friends came to us and they came with their daughter. There is just a little problem. It is the thing that they always leave their daughter at home because she doesn’t want to go with them. Their daughter is a little girl (about 7 years old) and naturally she is rather bored at home with only me at home (yes my parents are barely at home). She tried to watch some barbie movies, but after about 3 hours she got bored of that, so she started “playing” with my cat. In other words she torture my cat. She started to grab her at her forelegs and lifted her until her whole body dangled in the air. She is such a freaking pain in the neck, she tortures my cat all the time, but I didn’t have the heart to tell her to stop, because I thought her parents could probably be angry with me. So what finally happened was that my cat learned to hide from her, and for 2 days I have barely seen her, she didn’t even eat something but she escaped from torture. But in the end her mother had found out that she was torturing the cat she stopped it. But it isn’t only the thing with the cat. It is that she speaks all the time on and on. I can’t understand how she can carry on like this.
So the whole situation is really bad now, but I think or I hope that tomorrow they are leaving. Anyhow I wished it…
Sorry that I have written such nonsense but I really felt like that today. Maybe it is stupid… but I don’t want to delete everything just because it is stupid. But maybe it is no problem because barely anyone is reading this blog. I apologize for everyone who does, please don’t be angry. I promise I will do something more interesting next time.

Dear readers,
With this post I want to tell everyone, and myself, if I’ll read it later on, that timing is very important at school if you don’t want to have big problems…
So what happened?
At school we have a subject which is called SKPH… It is German and means „Stilkunde und Kulturphilosophie“ (German quotes are different from English ones). If you translate it, it could probably mean “stylistics and cultural philosophy” but I think the German word is used more frequently. For this subject we had to work out a 15 pages paper about a stylistic period. So I forgot about it and 3 days before the deadline I remembered that I haven’t wrote just one word. So I started working on it night and day… it was pretty awful, I had just about 2-3 hours sleep and the whole time I wrote the paper. Finally, on the last day in the morning, I had the paper finished, I printed it and went to school, on the way to school I noticed that there were a lot of spelling mistakes on the paper… so I had to return, correct the spelling mistakes, print it again and run to school… So in the end my paper wasn’t that good, but I didn’t get very bad marks… After I delivered it to my teacher I promised myself to NEVER do something like that again. Now I want to write it down, so I’ll really never do something like this again. It was a very awful experience, and I don’t wish anyone out there to experience something like that. So I’ll start learning math now because I have the math test on the 17th December.
So please learn something out of that and never do what I have done. You should really start to write something like that when the teacher tells you to do so… not 3 days before the last deadline. So don’t do it like me and avoid such experiences. If you have such experiences to share, please feel free to reply.
